She initially specialised in the legal aspects of mergers and management buy outs before moving to DaimlerChrysler UK where she was General Counsel, HR Director and Customer Operations Director.

Jill is a non executive Director of Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Partnershp Trust and VOSA, the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency.
